 WELLNESS EXAMINATIONS

Annual wellness examinations are the key to your pet’s preventative health care plan and quality of life. During each exam we conduct the following procedures:

  • Listen to the heart and lungs
  • Check muscles and joints for signs of arthritis
  • Test hearing and vision
  • Examine the skin for signs of growths, tumors and skin conditions
  • Check the throat, mouth and ears
  • Examine fecal samples for intestinal worms and parasitesExam Room 2

SENIOR WELLNESS CARE
Your pet’s healthcare needs change as he or she ages. Pets can reach the senior years between 6 to 9 years of age. These pets require additional preventative care such as blood tests and other diagnostic procedures. Early detection of health problems result in earlier intervention, which often leads to a longer and healthier life for your pet, and can reduce the overall cost of care for your pet.

IN-HOUSE BLOOD WORK
By having our own laboratory equipment, we are bale to obtain immediate results on critical patients.

RADIOLOGY
From stomach aches to limping our on-site, x-ray equipment provides quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders.

HOSPITALIZATION
A variety of medical conditions may require intensive supportive care to get you pet back on the road to recovery.

SURGICAL SERVICES
The following are some of the surgeries that we can perform at our facility:
  • Spay/neuter
  • Declaw
  • Growth removals
  • Cystotomy (bladder surgery)
  • Laceration repair
  • Ear cropping
  • Cherry eye repair
  • C-section

We are proud to be a laser surgical facility. In most cases, laser surgery results in less post operative bleeding, swelling, and pain for your pet. This option is available with almost any surgical procedure, but is most often used with spays, neuters, growth removals, and especially declawing cats. In fact using the laser for a cat declaw results in such a dramatic improvement in patient comfort compared to older methods, it is the only way we will perform them at our hospital.

DENTISTRY
Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions and oral surgery.

HOUSE CALLS
We provide house calls for local residents by appointment only.

PRESCRIPTION PET FOODS
Some medical conditions require special diets for optimum control. We are Proud to carry a wide variety of Hill’s Science Diet and Prescription Diet pet foods.
